I know I usually split up confessionals by days, but this time around, I will do just that, but split it up by days in here.
So, I have a lot of catching up to do. Let's get started, shall we?
-------------------------------------
~Days 1-3~
Hey guys! So if you didn't know it yet, yes, this is JVJ. This season the strategy is to not let ANYONE--and I mean ANYONE--on to who I am. Well, the only person who found out was K.O., but I knew I could trust her with the info, because K.O.=Kim of last season.
This includes the following:
-Even if I think someone is Jake, don't tell them who I am.
-Act stupid. Post in all lower-case letters in some scenarios (I kinda messed this up in PMs where I try to sound smart to get people on my side. )
-Actually use spaces after all my sentences. Something I realized I never used to do for whatever reason...?
This season the cast was much smaller than seasons' past, but also a lot more diverse in the terms of the shows we're coming from, so I like that! Hopefully the Jury this season will not be the trainwreck it was in Season 7.
Because this season had 13 castaways, we started the game with a twist courtesy of new host Rony Curvelo (you're welcome for the av ). We would start off with a Plate Smash, and the winner of the Plate Smash would get some sort of prize. I kinda guessed prematurely that it would be the ability to divide the tribes as we please and eliminate someone automatically, and lo and behold I was right later on! But on to that later....
Patti started off by smashing K.O. (my friend, this made me a little upset. ) I started by smashing Merlin, because he hadn't been around.
Time went by. K.O. was first taken out, followed quickly by the faboulous Merlin.
Next out were Keith & Jen.
Next was Mark, who I had taken two plates from and was pretty much the main factor in going out of the challenge.
Then was Celia, and then Brendan. It had come down to the very active people, and we all had 3 plates.
I took Brendan's last plate to not make any bad blood but be in a good position because other people would start smashing each other while I layed low.
Luke was out next, and Susie made bad blood with Patti by taking one of her plates before Luke was eliminated.
I took Luke's plate, and Susie was eliminated. (Susie said Poh reminded her of Elizabeth, and in attempt to make myself seem unfamiliar with the game, I said "from Survivor?" even though I knew exactly who she was talking about. )
Tori had one plate left, but I smashed one of Poh's in order to gain the advantage. I also said that I would be going to work later (which was true) so they would know I wouldn't be around and less likely to take me out than to take out the other person.
Well....it worked! Tori smashed one of mine then one of Poh's plates, and Poh took Tori out.
I came back home and took Poh out, and won!
This decision was a big one. I could make the tribes as even as possible, or I could put myself on a tribe with a huge advantage.
Merlin offered me an alliance some time during the Plate Smash, and I agreed to it. Since I had smashed his plate first, no one would suspect that we were together.
I also had the opportunity to take out an active person like Poh, Patti, Susie, or Luke immediately--but doing that this early over an inactive could make me seem too threatening and too much of a game player way too early on.
I decided to eliminate Mark--I had been responsible for smashing most of his plates so he might hold it against me, he was not the most active, and he wasn't the least active. All beneficial reasons for me.
I put myself on the most active tribe possible: Me, Poh, Patti, Susie, Merlin, and Tori. (I would have swapped out Merlin for Luke had me and Merlin not made an alliance earlier on). I put K.O. (my friend, but not very active this time around), Jen Johnson, Luke, Keith, Celia, and Brendan on the other tribe. Should be an easy enough tribe to beat.
Also, if we happen to lose a challenge, I'm already close with half the people on my tribe (PXP) and I am not the least active. In addition, I may be able to boot Poh (clearly already my biggest threat) early on if I have to.
I set this tribe up to win the Immunity Challenges and hopefully easily dominate the other tribe! So, we'll see how things work out.
*Looks above at all I wrote.*
-Whew-.
So, I have a lot of catching up to do. Let's get started, shall we?
